Sunny Days
« on: March 02, 2025, 07:50:13 PM »
The sun has got his hat on his hop hip hooray- except when I'm driving as he's  taken it off and is going down.
Hits me straight into the side of my eye when reversing onto the drive.
Hate it !!

You can tell the weather has changed.

During the winter months it goes dark early, cold too, so most people are off the streets and indoors, some evenings it's so quiet you could here a pin drop.
Then as the warm weather arrives the noise increases, an example being near us there's a d.i.y. buff who spends most of the summer, every summer hammering, sawing and drilling, I don't think Noah was at it as long as this guy. Then due to the warm weather we have dogs barking constantly mainly because the owners put them in the back yard and then sod off out for a couple of hours. It doesn't go dark till late so the kids are patrolling the streets till all hours generally making nuisances of themselves.

In that context give me a winters day with below freezing temperatures, and peace and quiet.
I am not a pessimist, I just help them out when they're busy.

Well done, we need to start tidying on our back garden. It won't take long though as it's low maintenance now.
