Fires in the USA
« on: January 16, 2025, 01:41:45 PM »
for a while, this topic took over the BBC News programme, for up to 10 minutes at a time...but for a couple of days....not a single mention...Nothing on the BBC news website either.
Weird....

You know the old saying:-

Today's news is tomorrows chip wrappers.
I am not a pessimist, I just help them out when they're busy.

TBH, I was getting fed up of it. They were doing it to death.
Terrible tragedy though but the UK has news we want to hear about as well.

Why rebuild on the same spot? it will only happen again, and as if that's not enough to contend with without having to live on the San Andreas fault which runs through California, if your houses don't burn down they're shaken down. why don't they just build 50 miles inland in the Nevada desert.
