Roads! who needs roads
« on: July 09, 2024, 10:40:06 AM »
Nipping up to the dump site on Shuttlewood road yesterday I approached the island about to turn left and saw coming from Bolsover  was a DeLorean, I kid you not, I had to do a double take.

Most Deloreans don't get driven very often.

Just from time to time really.

Tagging onto this post I seem to find the knack for coming across what could be considered quirky sights, one being the DeLorean.

You remember the time I was in town and spotted that woman smoking a pipe!
Well I was there the other day sat outside what used to be dents the chemist and walking down towards the Portland was a bloke who was  shall we say of Black African descent....anyway he was whistling a tune, it took me a few seconds before I recognised it and he was whistling " Men of Harlech".

For all I know he could have been Welsh, but it was just another double take.
