The latest addition to the silver spoon club
« on: May 08, 2019, 10:14:33 AM »
So Meghan has given birth, whoop ti doo!
There's rumours that she wants to give the baby an American name...Hank? Clint? J.R.? the list is endless.

She needn't worry, that job has been taken firmly out of her hands, but it will be interesting to see if she does stand her ground and give the baby the name SHE wants.

If they are struggling to come up with a good name they can always ask for suggestions from say Jamie Oliver!!!

If his surname is in fact Windsor he could call the baby Brian {geddit!}

ARCHIE............!

Obviously picked from a long line of heroes...
Archie Andrews........Archie Bunker. I think I prefer'd Hank
I had to laugh the other day when one of the royal crawlers {sorry} correspondents said Harry will be taking time off when the baby is born
time off from WHAT EXACTLY!!! he left the army in 2015 he doesn't do ANYTHING. These people really do live in a bubble, and these butt kissers really don't help matters.

She will be pregnant again before bonfire night......... wait and see.

I think the question ought to be.. So we SHOULDN'T do what with the royals?.... constantly sucking up to them would be a start. they and their ilk are in one of the most privileged positions in the whole world. Combined, their wealth would put the sultan of Brunei in the shade, and they have amassed this wealth by hoarding their money and galloping round the globe freeman's, even the sultan pays his way wherever he goes in the world.

In the real world they would be classed as scroungers.

I don't have much interest on the Royals to be honest, although did watch briefly as the new parents brought out baby to show everyone.
I'm surprised Meghan walked out as she still has some err baby 'wobble' ( meeeooww) and generally when we get to see them after babies are born they are back to looking like stick insects.

Saw this on Facebook. I haven't checked how much of it is true.

BORE OFF WITH YOUR ROYAL BABY NEGATIVITY MAN 🙄
Remind me again how it’s another scrounging on tax payers money?!

HIS Father......
•Volunteered for 2 tours of Afghanistan.
•Set up Invictus games helping wounded service personal.
° Numerous unpaid charity volunteer appointments all over the world.
•Family brings in 400 million a year in private revenue that under the “ sovereign act 2011” the government keeps £360 million of.
•Family brings in £1.8 billion per year in tourism.
•Country better off by £2.1 billion a year.
Remind me how the wedding was a waste of tax payers money too?
° The wedding was paid for by the Royal heritage and private funding not the tax payer and that includes her dress!
° The tax payer will pay for the public security not private security. The same way the tax payer pays for public security at football matches etc.

Don't be a zombie and believe everything you see and read in the papers, do a little research before sharing propaganda. Like it or not, the Royal family is a British tradition and icon.
Let’s not forget that most of the people complaining about spending tax payers money are the ones who sit on there arse and sign for it !!

Couldn't agree more..............
It is alleged.

His father did indeed volunteer for 2 tours, he was in the forces for a total of ten years and saw "active service" for less than a year of that leaving the forces with the rank of Captain and a decent pension. Top that with £2m p/yr from his dad plus £8m his mam left him plus £7m from dear old grannies will, no wonder he stopped work at 30.
His numerous "unpaid" charity works all over the world, whilst it's unpaid it also doesn't cost him anything either, this reminds me of his uncle, he is known as "air miles Andy".
The sovereign act {as I see it} was set up to provide the reigning sovereign with a yearly wage basically, after the Queen has taken out her "cut" tax free the rest goes to the state.
{I do realise she, and Charles now pay tax, but that was only through pressure}

The family brings in £1.8 billion per year in tourism....NO they don't. Tourism is generated by people from all over the world actually coming to see Britain's Heritage, it's the pomp and pageantry they come to see, the castles , tower of London,Windsor castle,  changing of the guard et al.  You could put a tin of Spam on the throne and they would still come. Out of the millions of tourists that come here each year less than 1% will actually SEE a royal whilst here, the royals are just a "brand".
