Not that I'm the slightest bit interested, because I'm not but....
The New Northern Gateway enterprise centre is coming on apace and the building seems to be taking shape.

{IMHO} it's just another vanity project possibly doomed to fail at some point, all it will do is make certain people a lot of money and leave Chesterfield with another expensive "White elephant" that at some point will {maybe} turned into flats for dossers and druggies and could even end up being demolished, or worse still a McDonalds!!

This "experiment" needn't have cost that much time and trouble, not when just 300 yards up the road is the now {dilapidated} building that once housed the N.E.D.D.C. on Saltergate. This building appears to be of similar if not bigger in size to the one being built, and could have been utilised, at a reduced cost, as the Gateway base long before it started falling into disrepair, and if the N.G. experiment fails the fallout would not have been that great financially.
They could have utilised the car park opposite {behind the Town Hall} as overspill and pay for parking like the rest of the plebs.
I am not a pessimist, I just help them out when they're busy.
