High tarriffs  what's that going to do,it's going to end up tit for tat and the only people losing out are the customers.

Canada alone sends billions of dollars worth of automobile parts to the U.S. for car production each year.
Strangely enough China only gets a 10% tarriff whereas Canada {U.S. next door neighbour}  gets landed with 25%.

So Trumps newest brainwave is turning the Gaza strip into Trumpland and scattering the Palestinians to the four winds.

Actually if you say it fast enough it doesn't sound all that bad an idea, asking Egypt and Jordan to take the bulk of Palestinians while he builds a millionaires playground on the site {with a large American military base permanently stationed there of course}. Netanyahu's all for it as it rids Israel of the Palestinian problem, unfortunately it won't rid Israel of the Hamas problem which is what caused the conflict in the first place they will still be lurking in the background.

Domestically if you have a problem with your next door neighbour and it's ongoing and no resolution in sight then one way of settling it once and for all is if one or both parties move.

Trumps warning to Hamas:- release ALL the hostages by 12 o'clock Saturday or suffer the consequences.

He is quoted as saying.."All hell will break loose if you don't" that, to me, means all those poor sods that's trekked all the way back to Gaza during the ceasefire will more than likely have to turn round and go back.

 In other issues apparently he had a phone call with president Putin the other day which has not yet been disclosed, I don't know what he's planning but so much for stopping the Ukrainian war in one day.

He's got a serious problem has that one, I could say I'm pleased he's not in this country but not much to choose from is there  :))

Apparently today he's had a phone conversation with Putin lasting an hour on how this war can be resolved, unfortunately he forgot to include Zelensky in this "group" chat, Zelensky only found out later,sounds to me as though they're ganging up on him.

Looks like he won't be sending anymore munitions to Ukraine which puts the U.K. in a bit of a bind namely:-
Do we continue to supply Ukraine with arms like we said we would thereby upsetting the U.S. if they do stop, meaning we will virtually have to double the output to Ukraine or do we tow Trumps line and leave Ukraine high and dry.

Unfortunately for the rest of the world the U.S.A. is a stand alone country, it doesn't have to rely on handouts, it doesn't need other countries to back them up during any conflict in short they're big and powerful enough to please themselves and that's where Trump comes in.

To Trump America is just one big mega company {run by him} that no one can touch {quashing the charges against him is proof enough}
He runs America like a business, like any arms to Ukraine is possibly seen as a waste of money so will stop it irrespective of the consequences to Ukraine as far as he is concerned he and Putin are very much alike they're almost buddies so heaven help us all when he starts to suck up to Kim Jong Un. How would Trump like it if Canada started moving troops over the border into Washington, Montana and North Dakota.
Can you just imagine it..America, Russia and North Korea in alliance, and where does that leave us, looks like we've got to get back into Europe a.s.a.p.
It's ok for Trump he'll be out of power in less than 5 years {but he can do a lot of damage in that time, some irreversible}

Looks like Hamas has called Trumps bluff over the hostages, he's been left with egg on his face and Netanyahu is wondering what to do next.

Trump is so used to being surrounded by yes men who do his bidding without question and underlings quaking in their boots that he treats heads of state the same, and sooner or later he will find that mistake out.
Lets hope it's not to everyone's cost.

Trump is now blaming Ukraine for starting the war!!!

That's like someone throwing a brick through your window and when the police arrive they say "Well you started it, you antagonised him by having a window"  :-?

Not to worry, only another 4 years and what's left of the world will be rid of him.

This man is a total idiot, I have zero faith in his ability to even wipe his own backside, let alone bring peace to the world.
As it stands at the moment we have never been so close to W.W.3 as we are now, even closer than we were with the Bay of Pigs.

Even some of his most ardent supporters are having second thoughts, not to mention  putting a big {spoilt} kid in charge of the U.S's economy.

Starmer met Trump today the meeting went "very well" according to some, of course it did they spent the first meeting slapping each other on the back and with Starmer sucking up to him which Trump {as a megalomaniac} readily enjoyed, and when he pulled out that letter from Charles inviting Trump for {another} state visit that really smacked of desperation, no one here likes him we proved that last time he showed up and now he's siding with Putin, If I were him I would graciously decline the invite.

Anyway they haven't got down to the nitty gritty yet, plus the fact Starmer is s**t scared of him. It's not going to go Ukraines way.

Trump wants the precious ores and minerals laying under Ukraine, Zelensky knows he's going to have to give them to him in order to keep Russia at bay, only trouble is Trump will only hold Zelensky's hand while the minerals last then he will just high tail it out of Dodge and leave Ukraine back at the start.

Plus the fact Trump and Putin will have already brokered a deal, whatever trump gets out of Ukraine Putin will get a share, remember what Trump said the other day "I'm a business man and I run America like a business".

Went the day well.

Trump is an idiot, he's an idiot wrapped in a moron, he's got the diplomatic bargaining power of a dog turd, why Zeiensky just didn't walk out is beyond me.
It's now official, Europe, especially Ukraine, can no longer depend on America for help, I'll go as far as to say were going to even have to watch OUR backs with them. The Americans need to wake up to what's happening.

N.A.T.O. now needs to vastly up it's game as regards defence as {predicted} Trump seems to be allying himself with Russia and Nth. Korea  so the only thing I heard him say on the news today that made any sense was World War 3 and he's the one that's going to start it.
Whatever the row in Parliament is about upping defence spending it needs to at least double, and N.A.T.O. countries need to do the same.

What do Europeans want for the next few months, drastically cut back on the niceties or end up living in a place that resembles Gaza?

It was awful. I think this may well be a plan that has backfired on him and his side kick. They haven't come out of it looking good
