I'm sure there are plenty. Not so much "gay bars", just that " gays" go there when they choose to.Whichever pub/club - its not a problem is it? :)

Some places do have Gay bars though don't they?

I dont think there is a particular bar however i know they used to do gay night around town used to be on a wed i think.

Last gay bar I went into was the Manhattan - about 25 years ago.
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

I read a notice a couple of weeks back on what I think used to be the Queens Head - opposite the Halifax.

it said something like Pleasure club for men opening soon - whatever that is

Going back long before that Fly, back into the 70's we used to go in there for floater coffees - it's under the veranda and 'was' recently a pub which did carvery's

It did open as Krystals but I don't think it did too well so closed a bit ago.
Not heard anything since though...

There was something in the press a few weeks ago saying that if someone wanted to re-open a similar establishment there was nothing the council could do because the licence was already in place.

I don't personally have a problem with these clubs as long as it's kept behind closed doors - some may find them offensive
