Tattoo's
« on: July 03, 2015, 07:19:12 PM »
I've seen a chap on TV with his face completely covered in a Tattoo - didn't like it one bit, why would someone want to change their looks to that extent.

Not something I have ever wanted TBH but it set me wondering how popular they are and if members have one or more.
If you have any do you regret having them.

Some tattoos are alright but on the face no, it can cause problems on how people perceive you and job interviews.

I don't have tattoos myself but thats my choice, OH doesn't either.
However i do like some tats I don't like the face to be covered with them, the same goes for piercings in that sense. To change ones looks with piercings or tattoos is a shame and I wonder what logic goes behind it

I have three, put there as aligning points for radiotherapy last year. I'd forgotten all about them and caught sight of one in a mirror a couple of weeks back - I thought my O/H had been doodling 'down there' with a blue felt tip....

:-?      I thought my O/H had been doodling 'down there' with a blue felt tip.... woo err Mr Dave  :))

If the marks are still there how on earth were they done - or what with is probably more the question?

My daughter has about three ( I think ) but they are small ones.
I saw a lady with one going down her back from her neck the other day.
It actually looked quite pretty as linked flowers.

Myself & the current Wife are Tat free, yet our two twenty something children have some tasteful ones - not normally visible - which kind of begs the question why bother?
My Dad has one on each arm done when he was in RAF- but poor quality by todays standards.

I think they just made a scratch and dropped in blob of ink when they did mine - I've put on weight since and two are now out of sight... :)
