Thoughts on Cameron V Live Debate
« on: March 07, 2015, 04:52:11 PM »
So why is Cameron not wanting the live debate between him and Miliband.

Again this unsavory individual is bullying and wanting to call all the shots on this.

It's been said it's because it will do the nasty party more harm than good?
I wouldn't have thought Miliband would have been a match for words against bully boy

Or is Cameron right in saying one live debate is enough in the run up to the election!

I think he's lost his bottle. Virtually everything they promised they have failed on. My rabbit could see Cameron off in a debate.

He's an inept liar who is pursuing an agenda to make his rich cronies even richer, with no thought for the more vulnerable in our society.

They have given billions to the bankers who brought the financial world to its knees, yet blames idle youths for the state of the economy.

I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire.

I've got to admit I really couldn't see why Cameron wouldn't want a 1-2-1 debate with Milliband. I'm no fan of Cameron but I'm even less of a fan of Milliband. Given the way Cameron wipes the floor with him every Wednesday lunchtime you'd have thought he would be begging the TV companies to let him debate him twice a week. However as someone pointed out this week that's exactly the point. Expectations on Milliband would be so low that pretty much as long as he didn't throw up on the stage he would be seen to have done a fair job and given the unpopularity currently of the Tories a fair job may be all he needs to do.

Anything is possible in this coming election.

Must admit I'd like to see the end of the old 3 party contest. The Tories are greedy posh gits, Labour have lost their way and the LibDems sacrificed their future for Nick Clegg to have his moment of fame. IMHO

Saw the craziest suggestion today. A Tory grandee suggested that a lab/con coalition would be preferable to having the SNP holding the balance of power

The two parties are worlds apart in what they stand for and how they think = could they find a middle ground on their policies?

With Cameron's bully boy 'I'm always right attitude' I doubt it.

It's not the UK people he's got the backs up but the EU as well.

The Tories are running scared that the SNP/what remains of a left wing of the Labour Party will demand Trident scrapping as the price of doing business.
