I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

I think it's going to be the Sun Tokens for us this year.  They are so handy for taking several cheap breaks.  Although when I say several, I might mean just two.  We're looking at Brixham in Devon for starters maybe in April, and perhaps Northumberland a bit later.  Both great photographic locations with an abundance of National Trust places to visit (we got membership as a Christmas present).

 :) :)

After the last week we had in Skeggy, I'd sooner have a week poking myself in the eyes with cocktail sticks  :))
Just looking for a week or so at Easter somewhere Spanish, the main companies don't seem to have many flights out though  :(

Skeg-Vagas is maybe more for families.
It's flat, and ok if the weather's fine.
We used to go there or Blackpool for our family holidays

They are indeed Fly and I've looked at them.  Given the cost for just one day, it's definitely cheaper to enrol at college!  Mind you, I have a hankering to do the Hardwick one.  Might have to drop elephant sized hints at home for it as a birthday present.  :)

Our holiday is booked this year, not spending at costa del skeg but at Mablethorpe.
It's in school time but have already asked headteacher for time off ith laura, but to be honest i would pay the fine should it come to that,
When you look at prices it is ridiculous. nearly £400 more if we chose to go in july instead

We're staying more half way between Benalmadena and Fuengarola so the beer supply should be Ok in benal JR LOL

@Emmz: Can't fault you, it's redic when the prices jump up for school hols.
Sadly we have to book during the hols cos work haven't got the drivers to cover our contracts  :(
Well, we 'don't have too', but it's so much easier to all concerned if we do. Don't get no better thought of !!

I like Mablethorpe, it has one of the safest and nice beaches on the east coast.  I hope you get great weather Emmz.  :)

We had lots of holidays in Mablethorpe years ago - in fact I had a late honeymoon in a caravan on the Golden Sands Caravan Park in 1970.
I think it's a lovely place for the kids - enjoy Emmz

People look on it as a price rise during holidays but alternatively why not a price drop during term time when they have to fight for customers? I presume they would be making a loss to keep these prices all year but it beats having properties empty.
