Who Remembers Bodens Chip Shop?
« on: October 26, 2014, 05:36:43 PM »
This chip shop I remember vaguely having yellow tiles on the walls I think it had an upstairs too. Must have closed in the late 80s or early 90s.

Yes I remember Bodens but can't remember what it was like strangely enough. I'm sure I used it though.
As anyone any photographs

I have some - will dig them out.
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

I seem to remember Bodens been a long and thin building with 1950s style seating and a long counter at the back also just recall a staircase to another seating area at a guess I think it closed in the 1990s

Yellow & Black tiles? I remember a seating area at the back. Don't know about an upstairs though? clearly there is an upstairs, but don't know what it was used for?
