Just having a break for lunch here as we are tidying the garden before winter is upon us.
Every time we hear an aircraft we look up and say - well that's not it  ::)
Just our luck for it to come this way and we are eating lunch

Thumper & Vera should be over Derwent Dams at 16.15, Chatsworth House at 16.20, then heads back to RAF Coningsby, and is due over J29 of M1 at 16.30.
So hopefully we will see them. :)

Seen them!
Just flew over our village, from Ashover/Wingerworth area heading towards North Wingfield.

We had just gone in doors locking both back and front outer doors when we heard them - dashed ouside but no time to get camera's focused onto them.

Bugger!!

Amateurs! lol, its not like you didnt know they were coming, saw them out of the window, looks like they flew right above ashover rock on way to j29.

Looks like one or two were waiting on the rock  :)

Thats roughly where I saw them in the distance from Calow. BBMF website wasn't too clear on route between Chatsworth House & J29 M1 but I knew they wouldn't be too far away.
In the event, they WERE too far away for my liking!
Never mind :)

Nice ones Simon  (y)
We contemplated having a drive out, but visited my mum instead.
She's been in hosp recently and still a bit ropey  :(
