Been to vote
« on: May 22, 2014, 08:02:58 PM »
I must be a true democrat, turning out in this miserable evening to vote.
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

Postal vote. Did it a fortnight ago.
About 9 different choices to pick 1 from.

Question:
About 3/4 of these choices were from anti EU group/parties. Next bit is a bit tongue in cheek humour.
Is someone really standing up to be the NEDCC EU parliamentary member to undermine the whole EU scenario ?
If they got voted in, they wouldn't be very popular with the rest of the EU crowd LOL  ;D

Next time you get the form from the council asking who lives in your house, not the census, that's not due till 2021.
There's an option you can tick for a postal vote. They send you the paperwork, you post it back for free.

It's not very widely publicised. And the news people pull down the turn out of voters.
I don't get it !

In Chesterfield you automatically get a postal vote if you had one before. One election, think it was 2003, was postal vote only as an experiment.

Doubt if the turnout will reach 20%
