Bird Singing in Chesterfield
« on: January 06, 2014, 12:33:27 PM »
I have been into Chesterfield today and whilst walking past what was the Co-op dept store (M&S side) I could hear a bird singing very loudly and clearly.

I have to admit I said to hubby is that one of the fake birds in a cage I can hear.

However the same trilling sound was ringing out as I walk through the Rose Hill car park I scanned the Town Hall roof and there was a bird up there - ever wish you had the binoculars on you.

It was a lovely sound more fitting to the woods and I have never heard it before in chesterfield.

Thank you bird anyway, you brightened my day.

As a    ps don't suppose we have any keen wild bird experts do we, who have heard it and knows what it is?
