Daft question removed.

I refuse to ignore this until you explain fully, why, in your opinion, we should do so.
You can't just tell us to ignore nothing whatsoever - its not right.
I might have to report you to the Moderator for your " Ignore this-erance" :P

Do you want to pretend I'm interested in what you're saying?

This thread was to test a theory I'd read about - and Scimitar just proved the hypothesis.

Now, where can I get this wakky bakky from - sounds good to me! ;)

It's complicated, so I'll simplify as best I can.

More people will click a button marked "Don't Press" than will press a button marked "Press This".

Not at all.

If I told you the article was about self-honesty, and how people kid themselves knowing that they are kiding themselves and people who kid themselves but actually believe it.

Does that make sense?

Hey, I was only having a bit of fun, or so I thought. Your sense of humour seems to have been replaced by rudeness.
Still, its your little toy, and I guess you can say what you want at the risk of humiliating members.
Nuff said >:(

My sense of humour is a little darker than you think - it was supposed to funny...

After a couple of humorous posts by you, I thought it would amuse you. Obviously I was wrong.

I apologise if you took offense - but if you joke with me I will joke with you. Don't think Morcambe and wise, think Frankie Boyle.

Apology accepted. I was told on my school report once that I had a weird sense of humour, so I guess we are both similar in that respect.
I misinterpreted you it seems - no damage done ;)

Yes I knew  Pete was joking scimitar - it is the wakky bakky don't let him kid you it's not  ;)
Pete  ;D I was also joking in my post - a bit of  psychology in it - thats my interest - which is why I didn't initially respond to the initial post.
Interesting theory though - and very true  ;)

Deffo wacky bacca. Surely if you believed it, you wouldn't know you were kidding yourself in the first place would you. And don't call me Shirley  :P

>> Surely if you believed it, you wouldn't know you were kidding yourself

Nor so Flyboy - how many people think they are in with a chance on the National Lottery? Loads.

Yet it has been proven that the odds against winning the lottery are a lot less than being struck by lightning.

How many people worry about being struck by lightening? Not many.

We kid ourselves all the time one way or another.
