can you help?
« on: May 13, 2013, 05:17:35 PM »
Sponsor my little one who is doing a sponsored dance at school.
Proceeds are going to Ashgate hospice, the dance is on 23rd May at her school (Brampton) I hear that Derbyshire times will be there too.
Money to be collected and in before 7th June..
Seems to be cash only as well, so thought id mention it...if you can help send me a pm or something with details
Ta muchly

Here's £5 to start things going  ;)

I've seen your FB post about the difficulties with it being cash, not a problem for me, I can drop it off at yours.
If any forum member wants to sponsor, but may encounter probs getting the cash to emmz, I can give her the money myself and get it from you at a later time/date and/or place. I don't mind if I have to travel a bit. It's what I do.  :)

Is she a good dancer?

I'll sponsor her too for a £5 - I'll give it to Fly. :)
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

well she does do tap and ballet each week. They have been practising their dance each day at school so should be good. I think its because of where the proceeds are going that im more than happy to help :). Cheers for that fly, I can pop names and amounts on the sheet..

I met OC in town today Emmz, I have an envelope for you from her and hubby.
It has her name and postcode on it, plus money  ;D
I'll keep it safe for now.

No rush  :)

I mentioned the dance sponsor thing to a regular customer today. After she paid me the fare, she passed me £5.
"Half of that is for you, and half of that is for the little girl who's doing the dancing. Please pass it on to her" she said.
Laura can have my half of it too, so that's £5 for Laura  herself :)

Well the entire school turned out to do this teachers as well as a big bear from Ashgate hospice, there was a group of 2 years for each group so Laura's class along with another reception did it with Year 1....the song was One directions Live while we are young (ive got it stuck in my head) Everyone did really well and I admit that i shed a few tears whilst watching Laura. I couldn't really get a picture as i wasn't in a position where i could
