To be fair the I'm not sure you can compare the food served at The Galleon with a Wetherspoons chain.

Outta my price range.
Don't think Soulville has to worry - not at those prices.

From what I have heard from people who have been recently, Soulville has more to worry about than their prices..

All the best to the Galleon, I hope they do well.
I didn't mean to sound condescending.

You didn't
It wouldn't be sensible to compete directly with a huge chain, so I guess you do something to differentiate yourself from the crowd and from what I have seen the Galleon aims to be on the high end when it comes to quality of the food, service and overall experience
(and just to be clear I have no affiliation or interest in the Galleon whatsoever... I have been inside though and it's certainly been very nicely renovated)

I've just looked the site and I can't see the menu/prices, probably because I'm on an iPad - not a great site for me.

Get what we pay for.
I suppose at those prices it
should
be pretty good.
We would give it a go but it would be a place for special occasions rather than a
regular weekly meal out.
