Anyone remember the car transporter full of SAABs when he tried to get under the bridge on Pottery Lane? The front one was stuck in mid air pinned to the bridge!! Gordon Lamb had the vehicle on display to show the strength of a SAAB.

I was talking to a car transporter driver one day and he said the worst sound to them was atrain going over a railway bridge, just as they were going underneath!!

I you look closely, directly under the missing front wheel of the smashed up car.
The lorry driver is stood taking photo's. Poor bloke  :(

apparently they were on their way to Robins and Day Peugeot.  They still are but one is a compact version.
