They seem to like the fact that he prefers his teams to play passing football. Also his past "successes" on a next to nothing budget.
I admit, when I first heard about his possible appointment, I thought it was a poor one. Then I read up a bit more about him - and still wasn't impressed particularly.
I guess though the men who make the choices at CFC know a lot more about it than you & I, and have done their homework. We have lots of this season left to improve from our mid table position. He may be able to bring in one or two useful players - with the appropriate backing of the club.
Jack Lester (the unsung marvel that he is) will possibly retire at the end of this season - so we need to look at replacing him over the remainder of this season.
Given that he has a decent track record of sorts, maybe with a club that can give him slightly more financial backing - he could be just the man for the job.
Lets hope so!
