Our_Lass is coping without the prescription meds.
I'm going to stop taking them tomorrow and see how I go on.

Can't believe we haven't had a fag for 4 months  ;D

Me stopping taking the tablets was a bad idea, the heart burn came back after 2-3 days.
Been to the doctors today. Got a repeat prescription for the meds  8)

Our_Lass is at the docs tomorrow. The Ranitidine tablets aren't working too good.

Correct Simon.
Indigestion is acid in the stomach. Heart burn is a build up of acid that starts to come back up your gullet. Reflux.
Me and Our_lass are both producing too much acid. Hence the heartburn.
The meds stop your body producing as much acid.
Ranitidine just stops the receptors in your stomach releasing the acid, temporarily.

It's not the lack of fags that's bothering us. We've stopped for want of a word.
Wish you could see the state of our lass tonight, Nauseas is not the word, crying, upset, depressed.  :'(
What can I do, sweet FA  :(

You should suggest Lanzoprazole. I've had ongoing acid problems and these tablets are brilliant for it

Small world Simon, Our_Lass was on these for a month. She was fine, but the doctor told her she'd only supply 1 month's worth of tabs.

Find it funny people are on these tabs long time, and we're struggling to get them.

Oh dear Fly, was our lass in that state because of  stopping smoking or is it like an after effect of the stuff she takes to help her not to smoke. Sounds like a nightmare coming off them if that is the case. Give her a hug from me. How brave you both are to continue with it as well

Small result.
Our_Lass has got a repeat prescription of Lanzoprazole.
I'm on Omeprazole. Happy bunnies and still not smoking :-)

National no smoking day Wednesday 13th March.

Will probably be the first one I can remember that I won't have a fag. Our_lass too  ;)
