We're considering going here Sun or Mon.
http://www.butterflyhouse.co.uk/

£8 per Adult.
£7 per child, (bit steep ?)

I love the Tropical Butterfly House.  OK, the initial price is a bit steep but as an old fart .... erm, I mean "wise old owl," I have a ticket which allows me admittance for £1 during term time as many times as I like :)

Me thinks that's gone up to £1.25 per visit  :(
Perhaps that's based on, 'this years prices'

Just us two, we can cope with the £16 entry fee. Will let you know if and how we got on ;-)

Laura went to the butterfly house with her aunt and loved it. Not been myself and with those prices wont be hurrying :o
Still unsure of weekend activities as yet but want to do something that is child friendly, Think Queens park have the fun fair on again as well so might take her to that..

We opted for an impromptu wee day trip to Edinburgh to see the amazing talent on display at the Fringe festival.  It was a beautiful sunny day and there was really far too much to take in.  Spray can artists, street dancers, unicyclists, puppeteers, magicians, jugglers, orchestras, choirs ... and even a solo belly dancer.  We really enjoyed the experience.

*Jealous*
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

Thanks, OC.  It was a really nice day and I even had time to buy a pair of tartan shoes .... well, it would have been rude not to ;) :)

Are you getting better?
