I only need glasses for reading but have seriously considered getting bifocals with clear glass at the top to save messing about.
My Dad used to be the same, except he just had the lower (reading) part in his frames and the top was 'open' - made it much easier if you wanted to rub your eyes!!
I went for the 'old mans' glasses that perch on the end of your nose for when I use the computer (as my bifocals are set for reading distance, which is different to using a computer screen)
I've often wondered about laser treatment - if you need two pairs/bifocals/varifocals prior to treatment, would you still need reading glasses after treatment?
