Would you visit Chernobyl ?
« on: March 27, 2016, 04:11:07 PM »
Its been nearly 30 years since the nuclear reactor at Chernobyl blew up causing one of the worst nuclear disaster in history forcing the evacuation of neighbouring town of Phipiyat in the Ukraine. For at least the last ten years its been possible to visit the Excursion Zone and the ghost town frozen in 1986. Radiation levels have dropped since the disaster but tours are done by guides and have to be booked in advanced. Would you fancy a trip around Chernobyl?

I don't see why not, if they are giving tours it has to be tested as safe.

I have a friend who used to have a child for a weeks break from there.
They are still suffering from this terrible thing.
We watched a documentary on it awhile ago - not pleasant and very sad  :(

No - it will be unstable for our lifetime & beyond :(
You only have one life, so live it & love it, & more importantly LOVE YOURSELF!
