I think it helps if folks take photos of all this sort of thing - if only for those that follow us later.
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

I should have time in the morning for a couple of shots myself. Love the chimney stacks  :)

A mate of mine a big photographer so I ask if he had any of the Walton. Luckily he had and was happy to give permission to post it on here. I don't know anything about this pub but it seems a shame it can't be incorporated into any new development instead of flattering it.

Should have been listed as a prime example of its style of pub architecture.

It's a shame, but it happens.
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

From what I gather the planning application is in but still time to object to the plans. I agree it should be listed but if the owners got wind of it well you can guess.  ::)

Great photo's chaps, I never realised how fancy it was in it's brick work, it really is a shame it's coming down!

Had a quick look through the D.T and see that Hillcare Solutions LTD have applied for the pub to come down.
Have googled them and the only company I could find was indeed a care home as suggested earlier in the thread.
It said it would be August before they knew if they had permission to demolish it - I hope they are rejected!
