What happens in this kind of situation, it's not something I have come across before.
I've seen people queuing to get some money out, but what about those who have substantial savings - will they lose it all??

If you think back to the chaotic scenes surrounding Northern Rock you can understand why they've done it.. That said the UK government were in a position to bail NR out. The Greeks can't do the same. This is only going to end up badly

They say only £40 ( UK pound ) can be drawn out on a daily basis - what about Direct Debits and standing orders will they go automatically?
