Secretary of State for Education dodges a childs question.

Nicky Morgan was caught out by schoolboy Leon Remphry during a children's newspaper interview.

Now I understand that being secretary of state for education doesn't mean she should have the maths skills of Einstein for example.
How can she possibly know what level of education should be taught to kids at what age though in this example?
If there's a think tank working for her, isn't her position not needed.
Aren't lots of political positions therefore not needed ?
