Road repairs and other improvements costing £516,000 is being invested across the county in June.
The money is part of a £35 million package Derbyshire County Council will spend on improving the roads in 2014/15.
Councillor Dean Collins, Deputy Cabinet Member for Jobs, Economy and Transport said: "Improving roads and pavements in the county is one of our priorities and work that is being carried out this month will help us to achieve this.
"We are always checking which roads need improving to ensure Derbyshire has an efficient transport network which is important to the local economy."
During June work to improve Derbyshire's roads will include:
Bolsover £35,000
Woodfield Road, Pinxton - pavement resurfacing - £35,000
Chesterfield £50,000
Chesterfield town centre - resetting cobbles - £50,000
Derbyshire Dales £201,000
A52 Ashbourne Road, Brailsford - road resurfacing - £75,000
A632 Chesterfield Road, Matlock - road resurfacing - £126,000
Erewash £180,000
Waverley Street / Cross Street, Long Eaton - road resurfacing - £55,000
Tamworth Road, Long Eaton - road resurfacing - £80,000
Main Street, Long Eaton - road resurfacing - £45,000
North East Derbyshire £50,000Crow Croft Road, Pilsley - road resurfacing - £30,000
Stone Road, Dronfield - road resurfacing - £20,000
