I've got a couple of kites I used to fly with the grandkids.
They didn't really like it, well who would, tied to a piece of canvas about 200 feet up!
IDEA, let's have a Forum meet in Queens Park and all fly kites.

My dad actually used to make kites for us to fly and eventually I made my own, sadly we see very little of this these days, it's gone I suppose along with the whipping tops and hopscotch we played back then.

  ;D no I never got sent up the chimney but most of the men in our family used to warm their butts on the fire  ;)
