Walton Hospital under threat of closure
« on: June 29, 2016, 06:49:14 PM »
Well remembered the NHS is safe in hands of our Tory government looks like it . Walton, Bakewell, Boslover hospitals are on the hit list to save money at a time of shortage of beds we really do need to keep these hospitals open don't buy into the care in the community myth its just that so please fight these closures . Chesterfield has already lost quite a few hospitals already , A+ E at the Royal is struggling as it is . Sign any petion or attended any NHS meetings regarding these hospitals make your voice heard.
Ex Newbold ex Arbourthorne, Sheffield now sunny Dronfield.

Haven't they already closed part of Walton Hospital.
When I go the main entrance is now round the back where previously it was at the front

Most of Walton Hospital closed at least a couple of years ago. My partner went there a few times for the weight loss help and counselling. Unfortunately its the way of the times at the moment, no money = no way of funding anything anymore
