Move to Clay Cross???? Opinions needed please xxx

Nothing wrong with Wingerworth, very nice area. In laws live there so spend a fair amount of time up there and they travel on a regular basis into town and other areas using public transport with no issues. Also two lots of shops within Wingerworth, the ones near the pond at the far end of longedge lane plus another set of shops at Edinburgh Courts near where the doctors is. Between them there are two mini market type shops, chinese takeaway, chip shop, hairdressers, pharmacy and a couple of other things. If you like it far enough but I think the issues were struggling to get to the shops as they were quite a fair way out buses not turning up another. The village seemed to be quite hilly in parts very much a need a car place to me. Its all down to what a person what's in a place.
