Blair says Britain should invade Iraq - again...
« on: September 22, 2014, 05:33:38 PM »
How many husbands, wives and children do we have to kill this time Tony?

"Former prime minister Tony Blair has said Britain and its allies must be prepared to send in ground troops to defeat Islamic State.
The former PM warned that air strikes alone are not enough to smash the advance of the terror state."

If this is the opinion of a Peace Envoy then he should consider paying back his salary.

Have heard this myself on the news today, would he volunteer to go with the ground troops?
Having said that I have also heard that Blair isn't the only one who is singing from this sheet, it seems others are endorsing what he says.

There's lots of rich b*st*rds make millions out of war - Blair's friends via George Bush? I don't know, but I wouldn't trust the ultra rich with a bag of chocolate pennies.

Some confusing headlines about.
Thing is when they went to assist Iraq remove certain unwanted parties last time, it didn't go down to well with the Iraqis.
I can see it all starting off again.
Perhaps Gov should be spending more on border control and monitoring what weapons and such are being sold to countries that might have a gripe with the western world.

Without wars they'd be out of a job - also it helps them get a larger budget...

Which countries have improved with intervention? Perhaps former Yugoslavia but can't think of any in the middle East
