Police try to quash rumours of attempted child abductions
« on: May 04, 2012, 01:35:58 PM »
Article on the DT website about how the police are playing down this story. Not sure exactly what they are getting at. They show a few instances of possible child abductions, but then say not to worry... I wish they would be clearer in what they are saying.

I thought that a bit strange too. It's as if the police are implying the kids are lying when they say someone has tried to drag them into a car.

Another person posted  and said this is NOT true so please don't spread it around by posting it

I dont think its right they try and ignore the issue there are child abductors out there and they will try any way to get a kid into their car etc. Its time we educate our kids to just say no to anyone they don't know.
I will NOT be letting Laura out of my sights anytime soon, she will not go anywhere on her own until i think she is ready
