Thanks, when I went past it was in full swing didn't stop not my thing. Though Mrs Wolfbanger likes a good party  :D

I wouldn't know who they targeted but they did come door knocking pre-election and how do they know who lives there?
They would have a good idea , for example I doubt any Liberal would be knocking on doors at say a university hall of residence.

Took my Pitbull for a walk noticed a fenced off area with what looked like Police patrolling. Music going and people in the fenced off area looked quite clamped and not really inviting any ideas?

Question is did these younger people Vote???
It's ok blaming others but did they actually get off their arses and vote?

To be honest I doubt any generation is actually to blame for the Tories getting in - they had a majority vote - end of!
Lets turn that question around , did any party try to reach the younger voter in their campaigns ? What I saw seemed to suggest that all parties were targeting the older end.

Used to go to Sheffield shopping for the day ( and I mean for the DAY ) with my mate back in the 70's/80's but that's about all apart from having a boyfriend who lived there and went to his home a few times  ;)

Don't like meadow hell so don't go shopping there anymore
I'm not a fan of Meadowhall, it simply killed off the city centre. I do go back now and again to see family . Sheffield changed a vast amount since leaving it to come to Chesterfield,  some for good others not so just needs a boost economic wise.

Are you a Sheffield lad born and bred then R.W ?
Have to admit I've never lived there and have obviously led a sheltered life as always have lived in decent areas.
Yes born at Sheffield, worked at Forgemasters until got finished their. Meet the wife and then moved here to Chesterfield after marrying. Sheffield has its charms but depends where you live, like everywhere else really.

One question to our councillor friends, why is it the younger generation get hammered by know it all politicians? Engel,Perkins, Herni7, Slacker care to answer? See the cyber group ' Anonymous ' message to the UK government . Troubled waters indeed.

You remind me of someone RW I searched the forum for the word 'wounder', the results are, let's say, strange.

Labour and Tory parties have both been to blame for the demise of this country and now we have hit rock bottom. No future for the next generation or the unborn child little wounder hate crime is up everyone is to blame ,sick, disabled , unemployed and the under 25s. Politicians of all colours play the blame game it's easier than facing the reality the problems that are now unsolvable so instead blame the people. But even here a division is forming between the generations the younger end get hit by tuition fees, sanctions and ever other pipe dream that politicians can think of but yet the pensioners are project to a point but by keeping them sweet you made them a target for crime. We have people pouring into this country because we are a member of that superstate called the EU we another problem employers can get cheap illegal labour so keeping our own the dole , but we are not allowed to say anything as we are dubbed ' racist' it has nothing to do with that again politicians use the PC card. The British political system no longer serves the people it was designed for instead we are sheep who follow Brussels wishes because our leaders will not say the magic word 'no' . Finally we have become a right wing totalitarian state that only the few will truly benefit as the rest are left to rot on the cold damp streets of Britain, well done .

It might be just me but are we heading for a inter generational war the young blame the old for allowing the Tories into power. Iv recently witnessed a few nasty exchanges between the old and young and I mean nasty, its a worrying sign .

Me and Mrs Wolfbanger hit the town the other week, later in the night we found ourselves in sort of cocktail bar things were getting a bit blurred by then. Mrs Wolfbanger made her way to the bar fancied a cocktail for a change. The barman suggested she should try a drink called ' sex on the beach' wow she said didn't realise that threesome's were on the menu , the barman hurriedly then said its a name of a drink, Mrs Wolfbanger was a bit disappointed  :( we are always up for some adventure. ;). Noticed a few more interestingly named drinks.

The one thing politicians have got in common the world over is they are scum, funny really as the electorate are seen by the politicians as scum.  >:(
