Outta my price range.
Don't think Soulville has to worry - not at those prices.

Here's the link to his web site,
http://www.acmretro.com

Some interesting reads, apparently he was a town lad, and lives in Holymoorside.

Not sure if been mentioned but in June a book on Chesterfield 1980s nightlife is coming out.
When I find the link will post.
In the meantime, check out the Facebook group called Dirty stop outs guide to 80s Chesterfield for more info and some great photos.

Ding dong for number one I say :-)
You just know the BBC would follow its Tory masters, look how many pro Thatcher supporters they had on their channels the day she died.

I heard Maggie's last request was to be cremated, only problem is she closed the pits, so there's no coal left to do the job . :-)  :D

Rants / Re: Buses - again!
« on: April 06, 2013, 08:27:27 PM »
While on the subject of buses, who thinks these so called pushchairs are getting out of hand. As a regular bus user I all too often see a mother with child, assorted shopping bags, clothing etc etc all attached to a pushchair almost the size of a shopping trolley !!
Anyone remember the nice fold up pushchairs that we had ??
Back on point, it will come a time when the pimped up buggies take over the entire bus - never mind the poor old pensioners with a walking stick and their coop carrier.

How about calling your spare bedroom a prayer room used for religious affairs :-)

His father was mad, but this one is far worse if he thinks he can take on USA.
Hopefully China will slap him down and make him see sense.
Problem is if they get shut of him, then another maniac will take control there.

Ron Mihaly?
Is that the ex Chesterfield fc player who does/did work for CBC?

Ron said he was having a crack at politics when he retired.  That and his allotment :-)

The designer was A J Hope from Manchester.

Chesterfield Discussion / Re: Chesterfield Law Centre

My sources tell me the law centre, citizens advice, unemployed workers centre, are all selling their premises and being offered space in the town hall, probably rent free instead of a grant.
