Anyone remember the car transporter full of SAABs when he tried to get under the bridge on Pottery Lane? The front one was stuck in mid air pinned to the bridge!! Gordon Lamb had the vehicle on display to show the strength of a SAAB.

I was talking to a car transporter driver one day and he said the worst sound to them was atrain going over a railway bridge, just as they were going underneath!!

I you look closely, directly under the missing front wheel of the smashed up car.
The lorry driver is stood taking photo's. Poor bloke  :(

apparently they were on their way to Robins and Day Peugeot.  They still are but one is a compact version.

Wot downt thay av spel chequer their - two kwote "The exist slip for the A6039 has been conned off and trains between Sheffield and Derby/Nottingham may be delayed by up to 20 minutes"

Makes the paper look rather amateurish to me!

Yes should read "B6039"

Also long delays Thursday due to a broken down coach

Not a good couple of weeks for the A617
