I don't recognise anyone Old Miner and don't know of a hosiery factory but will ask my aunt who is now in her 80's.
Have to admit there is one who looks very much like one of my other aunts who has deceased years ago.

Depends where from Slacker, the Nottingham Drive turn out now has a right turn space hasn't it but have to agree it's not easy,  further along just before the traffic lights into town isn't that boxed now so drivers shouldn't be queuing in that.

The only growths I am seeing evidence of at the moment are food banks and rent arrears. Any jobs created are part time and (more worryingly) zero hours contracts.

Seriously though I do think Julia is brave especially if she has scoured some of the political topics on here, but I also think all parties should have a rep on local forums to answer questions but maybe time is limited for them to do this.

We will see how often Julia comes on peeps.

Off topic but I was driving towards Chesterfield today from Clay Cross area along Derby Road.
Doing 50 MPH when a wasp otherwise known as a motorbike over took me just before the Mill Lane/Nottingham drive turn offs.
Bollards in the middle of the road there for right turning traffic - he 'just' made it - idiot.
Think Bike???
