Awww Alsatian love at the Aqua eh  :-*

The first time we went it was packed and we ended up sat on the steps in the aisle to watch the show.

I also remember taking my daughter in the late 70's  early 80's (I think) to watch a childrens panto, she always enjoyed it.
Anyone else remember that?

Politics / Re: The Tories and ATOS

There is nothing  like a moral mission with all this.

As we have said before the basic background thinking to the welfare reform is right but it's ill thought out, lies being told to cover tracks and a refusal to listen to the Church or Charities who have been banging loudly on the door of this government from day one of this reform being made public.

We have had a topic about the Benefits street Programme and if I remember both myself and Alsatian remarked about the young man who was just kicked of benefits and told to find work.
I think we both agreed that this young man could maybe have done some type of work but needed help and support to get a foothold into work.
It was obvious that he had some learning difficulties - if both Alsatian and I had spotted it I'm sure many more did, who watched the programme - so then WHY didn't the assessors of ATOS spot it? and WHY didn't the DWP?
WHY wasn't he offered a back to work programme designed to help and support him??
WHY? - because that's NOT what is happening is it, he was just ONE casualty in all of this and there are so many more out there!
In the last live debate this young mans situation was highlited - and yes we were right!
I believe he has now been given support and the opportunity to work -

There is no 'hope and opportunity' for many in this - only misery.

Cameron and the DWP lie, they must do because surely no one can be so thick and blinkered - or can they?

Aw sorry Fly we have pets but miss them so much when they leave us. I'm dreading our cat ( well he's daughters actually but he was a bit too old we thought to move with her when she moved out). He will be 15 this year and has his ailments but does ok really.
Homeless Fly - been there done that as you may know but ike you come out of the otherside.
It makes us stronger people I reckon
Rest assured Timmy is happy in his forever cat home Fly xx
