I missed it but the trailers didn't give a good impression of people on benefits.
My remark to hubby was that I hoped they would also cover others who didn't live like the trailers portrayed.

I have put next weeks on to record

Chesterfield Discussion / Bird Singing in Chesterfield
« on: January 06, 2014, 12:33:27 PM »
I have been into Chesterfield today and whilst walking past what was the Co-op dept store (M&S side) I could hear a bird singing very loudly and clearly.

I have to admit I said to hubby is that one of the fake birds in a cage I can hear.

However the same trilling sound was ringing out as I walk through the Rose Hill car park I scanned the Town Hall roof and there was a bird up there - ever wish you had the binoculars on you.

It was a lovely sound more fitting to the woods and I have never heard it before in chesterfield.

Thank you bird anyway, you brightened my day.

As a    ps don't suppose we have any keen wild bird experts do we, who have heard it and knows what it is?

We have been very lucky around here not to have had the problems of some down south. Up to now I haven't heard of any floodings around Chesterfield but the rivers must be high

One we have definately fallen foul of in the past was the house insurance. We let it run on too long with the annual cost getting higher.
We switched it about 4/5 years ago.

I intend to look at our energy this month have wanted to do it for awhile but hubby dragging his heals, having changed daughters at the end of last year saving her over £20 a month as a fixed rate until 2015.

I also frequently cook two meals in the oven saving on the fuel that way.
