Stolen Power Tools
« on: October 06, 2015, 04:16:50 PM »
Just a quick one to ask if people are offered or see for sale any power tools if they could let me know on here. A friend who lives Tupton way had a load stolen out of his van last night.

Thanks

I know that it's probably not much help, but i pulled up on whitt moor at the rear of RRD earlier in the year & was offered some power tools by two irish blokes in a transit that had irish number plates. I sort of got the impression that they were gypsies/travellers of some sort ?
Reported it to crimestoppers, but don't know whether anything came of it ?

I've seen this on the Tupton facebook page.
It seems to be getting a regular occurrence in the village.

I hope your friend is one of the people who have received some possessions back branso.
reading Tupton facebook site i see there has been 'a raid' on a property and the result was people have had stuff returned which had been stolen

Not heard from him but fingers crossed. I'll drop him a message and see if he's heard anything. Thanks.

Did your friend get his belongings back bransoj?

There's been a name and shame situation on the local village site - natives are not happy

Another break in last night in the village - the Fish Bar this time.
Locals really not happy just hoping no one takes things into their own hands and does something silly!!!!

Do the locals know who is doing this?
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

Yes - so they say.
I know the person they have been known for it for years.

On the local site feelings run high at times by some but a witch hunt isn't the right way to do things is it?
