25.2m in benefit fraud in 2014 and a further 18 odd in housing benefit fraud. The problem however is that fraud isn't the major issue, it's people playing the system and managing to legitimately claim many 000's

One would have to know how to work the system to commit any fraud, the system is so tight these days I'm surprised so many still manage it

The money initially goes to the family on benefits...its whether they then decide to pay the rent with it thats the question.
When you first fill out the form you can choose does the money go to the landlord straight away or does it go in my bank account....
Having being or applied for benefits in the past i cant see how fraud happens imo

Bad title Em. The point is where does the money go when a landlord puts up the rent of someone on benefits.
