Vets Bills
« on: April 23, 2015, 11:30:36 AM »
Not got ours yet but have taken Flash in this morning for some dental work.
We were quoted around £270.00 !

Extortionate or not?

I too am not happy how much vet's charges are these days.
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

Have to collect Flash at 4.00pm.
We took him in at 8.30am and he was checked over and given something to relax him.
Ha!
One hour later I had a call from the vets, advising me they couldn't get the bloods pre- dental work and would have to wait until they had knocked him out.

The last remark I made to the vet as we were going through the door was -' You might find him a bit difficult when he comes round as last time he was quite nasty to people he didn't know - but fine when we turned up'

 :))  :)) He obviously went under fighting - nasty old pasty!!! >;

Cheaper than we were told - only £205.00 with post op check up on Saturday  ::)

Went to collect him at 4.00pm and were still having problems with him - he wasn't happy with them and wouldn't let them go into his box to get his water without attacking them  :-? -

They had a right old problem with him by all accounts - must be the feral in him  :))

Back to the vets again as Flash has a swelling in his throat, two appointments this week and with meds given it's nudging towards £300.00.
He has to go back on Tuesday and be sedated again for them to take a look and see what it is!
Could be another £200.00 on top of what we've paid already!

If this cat costing all this money , why not sale it and buy a wooden bee  hay pesto no vet bills. Theirs one in town just need a van.  :))

:)) - wouldn't cost as much would it - only a coat of varnish now and again -
Tell you what though nichey young fella - the kiddies would play with Flash at their peril - at the vet found out  :))

Hope it's not too serious though especially as it will have already cost £300.00 or there about.

Bang goes this years cruise folks
