A keyboard warrior plus a visit to the police
« on: February 23, 2015, 08:50:39 PM »
Last night there was a story on Facebook about a woman in Sheffield who was left without heating for 5 days.  One person commented 'sheffield shitty council' so I corrected them by stating it was actually the responsibility of Kier.  Cue these comments (and i apologise if anyone finds them offensive)

So my appointment with South Yorkshire Police is tomorrow as Im certainly not standing for that kind of unprovoked behavior.  He thinks im joking.  Maybe with his Facebook downtime, he could have some and spelling lessons.

Im a bomb technician.  If you see me running, try and keep up

This why I don't have a Facebook account get asked a lot but one I'm a private person two Facebook seems to be a hotbed of trouble.

It can be nicheuk, the secret is to be very selective who you let into your friends, along with tight security. I've never had any problems ( yet) with mine.

Facebook persee is fine. You only invite your friends into your circle.
It's when you join groups and post. It can turn into a free for all keyboard warrior brawl.
I heard measures are being thought about where a blatant badmouth comment toward someone you don't know will soon have you facing and being accountable for your actions.
Gawd knows who's going to police it. The internet's a big place  ::)

2nd one Simon, remember the jerk with the smart mouth when cars were driving the wrong way, or/and reversing down the A61 Dronfield By-pass in the snow and bad weather.

ON CAMERA !!  :o

Ok so I went to the police and they advised me to contact the Admin of the group.  To get the police involved would mean them getting his address after tracing him which could be fairly difficult as all they have to go on is a profile picture and name

Ive contacted the admin of the group and requested that he is permanently banned from the group.  Next step is report to Facebook and get his account suspended.

I have a screenshot of their profile picture and as to posting this, its still the same so its not that difficult to trace.  Im sure SYP have a Facebook account for things like this.

Anyway, he's posted more and im not even going to lower myself to replying to a pathetic, uneducated wan*er

People will have a go at "the council" as if it's not offending anyone.

I have known this happen when there's been fatal accidents.

They don't wait for an investigation it's automatically a "dangerous road"

Someone designed this road, someone maintained this road. Often the investigation concludes drive error. It is not victimless slander.

To trace anyone on the Internet would be massively difficult

to trace someone on the Internet is massively easy if you want to do it and have the resources, if it wasnt why would anyone worry about people like MI5 and the FBI doing it?
