I'm having a good moan
« on: November 18, 2014, 05:48:05 PM »
We have spent a few hours in Chesterfield today ( Whoopy Doo - not! )
Hubby fancied a new suit for the wedding we are going to over Christmas period.
He doesn't want black or Grey as he has one!
Burtons - hardly anything
Marks & Spencer - nope - they are not in fashion!!
BHS - Nope!
Greenwoods - nothing he fancied  >:(

Midway through tramming round for the elusive suit we called at Costa Coffee for a quick drink. Hubby had a Latte which looked more like hot milk without coffe and I had a cafe cooler which was tasteless - I left most of it!! >:(

I was looking for  fascinator  for the wedding - only shop who has a decent selection is 'She'

We then called in at the new Meadowfresh cafe where Hudsons used to be.
The cup of tea was ok I had but had to stem back permanent retching as the smell of raw meat was wafting over to the cafe side and I hate the smell.

Toddled off to Debenhams
 YIPPEEE
Hubby got a suit and was well chuffed as they had a good selection

Back at home he's flipping moaning as it's only got imitation pockets on the outside ( it has pockets which are usable inside! )  >:(

He can go on his own next time - worse than women for shopping are these men!

Moan over  ;)

What good are imitation pockets. Does he have an imitation wallet and imitation bunch of keys to put in them.
Can't you get the sewing machine out and mod them  ;)
He's not wearing it till xmas  8)

Are they imitation pockets - or just stitched closed like the last suit I bought?
Might just need some scissors!

Or Mr Cruser could have saved his money and gone to the wedding in his birthday suit problem solved! :))

Pam, the pockets will be usable.  They just want a gentle unpicking.  Mr Gerts last suit, together with a coat I got recently also had sewn up pockets.  Not sure why they do it except maybe to deter shoplifters perhaps.

Anyway, glad it was a successful trip after all the trauma  :)

Oh didn't know that folks - thanks for the tip off. I was getting worried as thought I might have to take my purse when we went out  ::)
I will have a look cos he's still on about them!
Oh and to carry on with the moan, I also went into Monsoon, not been in for a while and thought they may have a dress in I liked. I noticed they have condensed the clothes and brought out the tat at the back of the shop  >:(
