Just going out for a meal later on in Chesterfield with family.

Was hoping to see the Vulcan land later on in Doncaster but I cant find out what time its back.  Cant even find the time its flying at Bournemouth to give me an idea.

My present will be in a couple of months as thats the waiting list time.

Happy birthday Simon!  :)

Where are you eating out? I'm very interested in local restaurants at the moment.
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

I did more than I thought.

Fancied going out for lunch and usually its a visit to Dobbies for food and then a wander but this time we had a drive to Ollerton Watermill.  If you are ever that way, granted theres not much there but the tearoom is well worth it.  Nice freshly made food and a good price.

Left there and went to Rufford Abbey.  £3 to park but that covers a lot.  Walked around the lake and a quick look in the Abbey.  Will be going back with my camera.

Food out at Lock Keeper and my what a disappointment.  I had half a roast chicken, however it was more like 2 legs and the meat - well what little meat there was - was dry and chewy.

Got a bit of money from my mum which has bought me some new PC speakers as my others have almost had it.  Next week ill be booking the Vulcan Bomber Hanger tour for October time.

Thanks to all who wished me happy birthday either on here or the Book of Faces.

Rufford is a great walk round. Pity the statue got smashed by vandals.

Thought I'd posted that pic before. Got that one from google.
Apparently it got smashed beyond repair, what a waste. Tossers !!
Anyway, hope you've had a nice day :-)

Sounds like a lovely, lazy day Simon.

Must admit I'd not seen that sculpture before - reminds me of our rabbit, he sits on the sofa and watches tv with my missus.

Added - Are you saying the sheep sculpture was smashed to bits? Sorry, it's still a bit early for me.
