Thunder and Lightening never bothers me, but I have to admit the lightening was lighting up the inside of  the house so I drew all the curtains.
Is it an old wives tale about moving the cutlery out of the way of windows?

Never heard that one but i suppose it depends how close it is and if its likely to pick up a charge.
